August 2007 MN Chapter CPCU Society Introduces Member / Candidate Support Program.
 |

 |
This is a new Minnesota Chapter CPCU Society program being introduced that is designed to help CPCU members and active candidates offset the cost of dues and certain educational expenses that are not otherwise covered by the individual’s employer.
The Member/Candidate Support Program (MCSP) allows for expenses of up to $350 per person, per fiscal year (July – June) to be reimbursed to individuals who can’t otherwise afford to incur the expense and aren’t able to be reimbursed by their employer.
Eligible expenses include:
• Annual national and chapter dues
• Minnesota All-Industry Day registration
• Monthly meeting registration
• CPCU educational expenses, including books and exam fees
Expenses that do not qualify for reimbursement:
• Independent exam prep materials (i.e. Keir study guides)
• College coursework
• NLI registration fees
• Insurance education not directly presented or sponsored by the CPCU Society
A committee made up of the Chapter’s President, Treasurer and one other Chapter Director will review applications and approve or decline each one within 30 days. Expenses Approved expenses over $100 would be eligible for disbursement prior to the individual incurring the expense or cost.
An application is posted below.
